A simple question.. or is it

To set the Dwell for maximum efficiency you will need your Impulse, air (or CO2), some paint and a chrono. Set up your Imp. Adjust the operating pressure to 180psi. NOTE: If you have a VooDoo Full Flow (VFF) or a High Flow Vertical (HFV) installed set the operating pressure to 150psi. While firing over the chrono, carefully adjust the Dwell POT until you are firing about 280fps. The Dwell POT is very sensitive, so only make small adjustment. Once this process is complete, your Impulse should be running at maximum efficiency.

after I do that on other days do i set the velocity with the reg or with the dwell??

This does belong in the Tech forum. I'm no impulse person, but i would say adjust through the dwell, 180 psi is just right for impulses, you dont want to go any higher or you risk blowing the solenoid.
