LX on Classic Automag Valve probs...

    1. Classic Automag Valve
    2. HPA

Velocity screw cranked all the way in and LX still isn't able to fire. Is this the issue that the newer piston will fix?

Also, is there a LX FAQ yet? I’m sure that those of us with the Classic Automag valve may have more issues getting the LX mod to work.

Go to a bigger carrier. If the carrier is too tight it won't let go of the bolt. if that doesnt work, go to a smaller bolt spring.

Does your AIR valve leak from the back when you have the velocity all the way in ??
What is input pressure of your HPA??

        tranman:
Already tried the largest carrier with the shortest spring, still no go.

        bambam:
Yes, there is a small leak out the back. HPA is apre-set around 750psi.

More info: the bolt will fire a couple times then get stuck, I can reset
it but it never seems to have much pop...

Since there is a small leak already from the velocity nut, no more adjustment is available - unless you go from longest to shortest springs to compensate the resistance to the bolt.
Replace your spring pack and regulator piston. This will fix your problem.
You can try different configs with the LX kit once the right amount of pressure gets in the air chamber and pushes the bolt.
You're right about the new reg pistons. They are designed
              with HPA in mind.
