    sear length

    how do i measure the length because mine got changed somehow and i dont know how long its supposed to be i dont wanna pay for a new assembly because i have the old school rail and id have to pay for the 40 dollar rail 3 dollar pin and 15 dollar sear assembly becuase the 18 dollars worth of parts wont fit in my rail
    i choose not to have a signature picture because i have a phone line and its very slow

    The most accurate way is by using a micrometer/dial calipers. Measure from the middle of the sear fulcrum to the end of the trigger rod. I'm not postitive about the length of the sear, but it should be in the area of 1.98 in. (cf frames) or 1.99 in. (aluminum frames).
