if it sounds like its shooting full auto.... look to make sure the the sear rocker pin is still in the body... mine had fallen out in my gear bag, i didn't notice and had a great level 10 fa for about 5 min while i tried to figure out what was causing it... most likely that is the problem for you.....

if it is not... then check the power tube oring and replace if nessary....

if it is the 1st one use some blue loctite on the threaded part of it and replace it....

its not actually building up enough pressure to actually shoot, little spurts of air just come out. when i hold the trigger down the air stops coming out of the barrel

i exchanged all my o rings in the valve, cleaned all the parts and relubed them all. at first the leak stopped but the valve wouldn't fire. after a few squeezes the valve started leaking again but not as spurts just continuosly. The valve also retains the air after degasing and when i remove it will shoot out the air
            confused

If you hold back your trigger does the leak stop? If so, you may need a differant size PT spacer. Another important thing, are you sure that all the o-rings are back in the valve? There should be one in the PT. The on-off should have a big one on it, a little one in it, on the top, and in that hole should be a big one with a littl one inside of it. Those are all there correct?

when you get the powertube spacer kit..... on the back of the package it give directions on what to do depending on the problem.... in your case you need to go smaller.....
