Hi, I am having a problem with my mag, it seems that my automag isn't getting enough air to shoot a paintball. I tried shooting my gun and in my tank I had 3000 psi which is the maximum it can hold, anyways when ever I pull the trigger it doesn't even shoot the ball out of the barrel, at first I thought it was my velocity, so I turned it up, but it still did the same thing. I also thought it might be my gas-thru forgrip for some reason, so I took that off and ran my hose from the ca adater to the valve, but it still did it. If anyone knows what the problem is, please tell me. Thanks

1st off, loose all the forgrips bottum lines ect. and hook up your tank righ tto the valve.. and if it shoots then there is a prob in your set up.. if it still dont shoot then see if your bolt can move freely.. if it still doesnt then tank it all apart and oil it.. then gas it up and try again.. it should work.. and also i might add have tiyr velosity in for a "snug' fit..RT

is the front screw that attaches the frame to the gun in right? If it isnt the gun wont shoot or even fill with air.Starting a new team!
If you you wanna start a paintball team, and live near Laconia NH, go ahead and PM me! This is gonna be HUGE! Oh, and any cool ideas for a team name are appreciated.

Did this setup work before?
What is new, if there are new parts?
The more info you give us the easier it will be for us to help you. I'm sure it is something simple.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

yes, the setup I Have been using has worked. I dont think it is my tank because I tried it on my friends spyder and tippmann and it shot fine. Every thing beside the gas-thru grip and verticle bottle adapter is stock. I took the valve apart to see if anything was bad and all the orings and stuff were fine. I have only had the gun for about a month and a half and I use hpa, but have used co2 like 3 times with remote.

Was the gun new or used when you got it?
Older mags required that the on/off top be put in with the X to the bottom. The new style doesn't matter.
Check your bolt spring to see that it extends out past the front of the bolt. If it has weaked during play, it can cause bolt stick.
Check your sear for signs of excessive wear.
Check that your trigger is loose in front of the trigger rod when the gun is gassed up. There should be about 1/16" of gap when the trigger is at rest.
I'm going to assume your mag is new or has fresh o-rings and therefore all o-rings are new as well.
As PyRo has stated, check the output pressure of the bottle you are using. Even though it works with other guns, the pressure may be too low for the mag. Mags require about 600psi input or above to operate properly. If you have obtained a bottle designed for a low pressure gun, it may not function for you on your mag.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

I did buy my gun new and like I said before, every thing is normal nothing is worn that I can see. One thing that I did notice that I should have said before, is that when it first started not shooting the balls out of the barrel I degassed it and took out the valve. when I took the valve the on/off valve was sticking out, so that I could see the o ring that is on the on/off bottom. also when I took it out I made sure that there was no air in the valve, but when it came out it made a sound like a little air was still in it, and that when I saw that the on/off valve was sticking out.

Sometimes there is a tiny bit of air pressure left in the valve system when you degas. Not enough to hurt anything.
Be wary though. Always press the trigger when you remove your valve. This will keep the on/off pin up in the valve assembly so you don't bend it while removing the valve.
You can check the on/off pin by putting it on a flat surface such as a mirror or piece of glass and rolling it. If there is any wobble at all, then it is bent and should be replaced.
If you want to try something radical, remove your on/off assy from the valve. Remove the bolt. With your valve attached to the air system but not in the gun, screw in the air system. If air gushes out the on/off assy hole, then you are getting good flow through your air system and through the valve regulator. If air flow is restricted, then your problem is in the back of the valve or in the air delivery system.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

Ok, so here is the situation. I have tried everthing that you guys have told me to do. Except for what ATHOMAS said witch was to take out the valve and take off the bolt and screw in my tank with the valve still connected. My gun still doesn't shot the balls out of the barrel and the gun sounds like it isn't getting enough air. It usually sounds a little louder. Like I said befor I have tried both my hpa tanks which were full. If you guys could give me any more further info that would be great. Thanks.

ok lets think here your gun is getting starved which makes me think your bolt is a little funky, i would say take your power tube apart and check that and also if the gun is new it shouldnt matter but for Shiznits and giggles check the on/off valve again and make sure there is a ton of lube. hmmm aside from that i dont knowmostly he was insaine but he had fleeting moments of mere stupidity

just one crazy butsimple idea that is stupid, when it is gased up, is the bolt firing foward? if not pus it back by sticking our finger in the powerfeed till it clicks. Stupid and simple, last i hada similr problem with a riends mag. EWvery 3rd shot would get stuck in the berral and the auages where wll over th place on the HP tank so i sent it to AGDand it turned out to be the tank, icn't help you any further but call AGD tech line and thy are great with helping you. sorry

Try backing the bottle out of the ASA a 1/2 turn. It may be that the bottle is going on too far causing the pin to be pressed too far into the bottle. The pin depresser will actually block the flow of air.
This has been know to happen on some assemblies. The problem is that the pin depresser in the ASA is too long.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
