Very weird long term velocity drop off with mag

I was having trouble w/ inconsistent velocity w/ my 68 automag and lvl 10. I moved to a larger carrier and it was like 280,282,280. So i filles the hopeer the rest of the way and ripped off the 200 rounds as fast as i could. I felt the valve and sure enough it heated up. I then re-chronoed, after a short pause in- between the string and chronographing.All the shots we're in the 260's. I have a kapp lock on it.I really can't figure out what's wrong.

My Emag did the exact same thing this weekend.

did u break in the oring? or were u doing that then?

Nope, I already played with it twice and have shot atleast 2 cases of paint through, with no breaks or chop:)
