Double fireing on emag.... in Hybrid....

I have an interesting issue... might not be an issue but I'd like to see if others have seen this.

My emag in hybrid mode will fire electronically but the backstop does not stop the trigger from also pussing the trigger rod and firing again if I continue to squeeze.

I kinda like it but also would like to synchronize the trigger pulls. I've thought of lengthening the trigger rod (but that is supposedly a no-no) to get the two to line up... might also increase the kick from the RT effect.

    Thoughts? Suggestions?

BTW... this is with the TL63 "Timmy" trigger.

first off, this obviosly wouldn't work in tournies so you should do it there. With the trigger rod length, you need to find a good length to have it out, because if the mechanical mode fires to close to the electronic they may be too close together and you would then get problems and definately not be firing 2 balls at a time. So IF you are going to adjust the trigger rod, make sure you can get it back to normal and then try to find that "sweet" spot length to get the mech and elec to fire with a fair amount of time inbetween.

I posted this same thing a while back.

If you want to make the electronic trigger to fire at the same point as the manual trigger (it should actually fire just before), adjust the trigger magnet so that the hall effect sensor isn't activated as soon. Make it so the hall effect sensor fires the gun at the point just before the gun manually fires. This will give you crisp electronic firing and retro kickback.

I personally like to keep my electronic firing in front of the stop and my manual firing behind the stop. Usually when I fire in hybrid, the gun is firing in manual mode only, because only my first shot is electronic due to the fact that I don't fully release the trigger all the way. I let the reactive trigger push it to the front, but my finger pressure prevents it from going forward past the electronic point.

One thing that would be nice. Get a hall effect sensor with a narrower hysteresis. That way you could make your electronic trigger pull shorter.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
