Minimag -- Does it come with a 4 star valve???

Do Minimags come with 4 star valves??? Also, is AGD going to discontinue the Minimag?

Yes, almost all Minimags have 4 stars on the valve, I believe AGD is cutting them down on the newly manufactured ones to 3 or 2. As for the discontinued thing, they did for a while, but there was a huge demand for them so they started making them again.

They were planning on redesigning the minimag. That probably got put on perpetual hold by the lvl 10, extremes, intelliframes, etc.

As far as the star thing is concerned, I personally wouldn't worry too much about it. I've had my minimag for almost 7 years without a single problem (that a parts kit wouldn't fix, anyway.) Just don't tinker with things like the on-off pin, the trigger-rod length, etc and you shouldnt have problems.
