Is it possible that level 10 does not work, ever?

I had problems with it venting out the back so I called up AGD and ordered a new reg piston. Swapped it out within 1 minute and we were up and running. I can turn the velocity adjuster all the way up (in) now and it will not vent at all. Good deal. But now I cannot get Level 10 to even fire at all. I spent over 2000 psi of a new fill to get this working but I had to stop because it was 2:30 AM.

Here are my results so far. Please help.

    Medium Spring
    -------------------------
2.5 carrier, no shims = leak. Will not fire with velocity all the way up.
2.5 carrier, 2 shims = heavy leak. Will not fire but bolt stick gets unstuck as soon as trigger is released.
2.0 carrier, 4 shims = very very heavy leak out of front.
2.0 carrier, 3 shims = no leak. velocity all the way up, bolt stick. Just moves fwd a cm and then gets stuck. Then I can reset by pulling trigger a second time and releasing.
2.0 carrier, 2 shims = no leak. Bolt stick immediately. Moves almost 0 cm forward. Hard to get it back by using only the trigger. I have to push it back with my finger.
2.0 carrier, 1 shim = no leak. moves fwd a little bit and a good amount of air is leaking. Seals back up by increasing hiss then when it moves back it stops.

    Short Spring
    -----
2.0 carrier, 2 shims = no leak. Bolt stick. Takes repeated pulls of trigger or finger to get it unstuck.

I actually ran 5x as many tests but didn't think of writing them down. It's pretty hard for me to get it to leak with number of shims, but 2.5 will leak every time. It's super loose.

    Hope someone can help me!
    Peace!

Remove your barrel then fire it.

Try 2 shims a 1.5 and the medium spring

I had a crappy fitting barrel that just caught on the bolt. Wouldent fire no matter what. Honed out the insides and it fires perfect now.
Did you hear about the new european weapons contracts? France is going to make the wooden sticks Spain making the little white flags

You were absolutely right. BlackVCG tells me Tom made the bolt .686 so it would seal tight. That means small bore barrels are out of the question.

Got it working with a 1.5 carrier and 2 shims.
      Peace!
