AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
the Emag/RTPro/Retro valves all need a quick burst of air to seat all the orings/seals....
uning screw-in tanks some times does not allow this to happen... cuz when they are first engaged the blast of air out of them is not quick enough.....
some fixes to try....
put the mag in M and leave the battery pin in.... hold the trigger back while you screw in your tank... once down release the trigger and you should be set to go...
if there is still a problem do the same as above but before releasing the trigger put a stick squeegee down the barrel and/or body and push back on the bolt to help it seal... but most likely the first way will work fine....
first off check all hte O-rings to make sure none are ripped and causing a problem, (just for percotionary reasons) then if what was said is correct that the screw in is at fault, you can buy an on/off screw in ASA like the one KAPP makes. This will provide a sudden burst of air when you screw the tank into that then twist the on/of valve to ON. Hope this helps
Well i tried what you guys said, it still has the problem. I think when I was cleaning it I might have moved the sear assembley back or something that can make it no move, I will have to check that tommorow.
If it leaks down the barrel upon gassing up, that means you need a quicker burst of air. The trigger not comming foward means one of two things most likely. Either you are not getting enough pressure to the valve, or you put it together wrong. Check to make sure that everything is put together properly. I know in my mag, I can put it together in such a way that the trigger rod gets stuck inside the grip frame. Then again I have a z-grip mini, and not an e-mag.
