    Macro line or steel line

I currently have a macro line on my mag. My friends insist that macro lines are bad and I should switch to a steel line. Are steel lines better than macro lines? If so, what are the advantages of steel lines?

Thank you for your input, FooTemps. I have one more question. Are macrolines more prone to leaking at the connections? Thank You.

      hell no

if its gonna blow, itll be at a weak point in the line, this could be anywhere, usually along the middle of the line as luck goes
I've never had a problem with either micro or macro line (i use micro) fittings.

I had a macroline explode on a fairly warm day(85-88F)and when I replaced the line with an extra piece from the kit, the elbow fitting blew apart. I am going to stick with braided stainless, just to be sure this doesn't happen again. KAPP and Cooper-T both sell swivel 90 elbows for use with braided line that make it easier to work with.
