I just got my P/f classic today! Is it normal to have a millimeter of space between the mane body and valve assembly? The thumbscrew is tightened down and gun seams to cycle ok. I cannot test how it shoots because I do not have a barrel. (It is on back order) Also, when I gassed up the gun the Regulator body rotated a little about one mm. so it is no longer aligned with the words on the on/off assembly there are no leeks. Everything seams to work properly. Is it within normal parameters?

Yup. All my Mags have had a small space between the body and the valve body. No problem.
