    mag not shoting ??

Ok heres the deal I just got this used mag and when I go to shot it it will let my shoot like 2 or 3 shots then it kinda spuders and leaks air out the barrel. Then when I hold the trigger down it will stop for a second or two then start leaking out the barrel again . Then If I turn the gas off and then back on it will do the same thing ! will someone PLEASE help me with this ! I think it might have something to do with the on/off assembly.

strip the gun down, check all your o'rings, try a new bolt spring. maybe turn the velocity up a notch. how much pressure are you putting into the gun? what type of valve?

Are you using a stock on-off, if not that is probably the problem. If you are, then double check the on-off o-rings. It could also be the PT spacer.

Try a shorter PT spacer and repace your PT o-ring.

I would normally agree on the PT spacer and o-ring. Exept that it still leaks when you hold back the trigger. You may actually have to problems, one in the on-off, and another in the PT.

go to the on-line store and order the video tape for the classic mag. it only costs $4.95 for s&h, the video itself is free! this video has a lot of interesting history but it also has a very extensive trouble shooting section. good luck!

If you take out your valve, on the very front is a brass peice. This can be unscrewed with a nickle. In that tube under it is the PT spacer (metal peice), it should have a number engraved on it, this is the size. THe PT spacer should come right out, under that is the PT o-ring.

If your barrel gets stuck you can usually solve it by takeing the mainbody off.

put a little gun oil on the barrel o-rings before you put the barrel in!

while your on the store web site check out the img of the automag valve. it's just a very very fast download and it will show you all the parts and how they go in.
