There are some mettle filings on the bumper of my classic.

There are some mettle filings on the bumper of my classic. On the outside of the power tube and power tube tip there is a little scoring. I just got the gun new and have only cycled it about 100 times. I can detect a light coating of oil on the bolt (not much). Are these filings a part of the breaking in process? Should I oil the bolt and bolt spring? Should I oil the outside of the power tube? The manual does not say anything about it. Is Gold Cup Lubricant ok for a mag? Sorry I am new to mags.

    Thank you for yout time.

Make sure the edge of the bolt that catches the sear, and teh sear itself arn't wearing out. Check the bolt for anything that could be scratching up the PT tube. I used to get metal filings when my sear got chipped and was eating the bolt.
