Please help I am new to mags!

There are some mettle filings on the bumper of my classic. On the outside of the power tube and power tube tip there is a little scoring. I just got the gun new and have only cycled it about 100 times. I can detect a light coating of oil on the bolt (not much). Are these filings a part of the breaking in process? Should I oil the bolt and bolt spring? Should I oil the outside of the power tube? The manual does not say anything about it. Is Gold Cup Lubricant ok for a mag? Sorry I am new to mags.

    Thank you for yout time.
    Peace :)

Gold cup is fine...use only oil approved for paintball use. To oil your gun; put a couple of drops into the asa BEFORE airing it up. Remove your barrel. Air up the gun. Dry fire 20-30 shots. That should oil it sufficiently.
As far as the scoring, it sounds like the bolt, when cycling, is hitting the power tube. I really cant answer the question; is the gun brand new?

Yes Brand new. The scoring is very light and it goes all the way around the power tube and tip

look inside of the bolt and see if there are any burrs or anything else that could cause the bolt and the power tube to rub together, also, have you ever taken the power tube apart? There may be something inside the tube which is allowing the bolt to move in a direction other than straight forward and back.
