AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Will not work in the mainbody of any other mag except itself.
Has a gas-through main rail. (Has a hard line that plugs into one of 6 feed ports on the frame-rail)
Has a gas through fore-grip.
Main tube has holes at the front for styling purposes.
RT-Pro-
Uses Retro Valve.
Will work in ANY main body except the RT.
Gas feeds in through the side, like all other valves (hence the backward compatibility)
Has a stainless steel hose from the bottom-line to the valve.
No gas through fore-grip.
In conclusion- TECHNICALLY, they are the same valve. No performance differences. However, the air feed pathways are somewhat different. And there is the diameter of the valves. RT works on RT only. Retro works on all mag bodies.
Honestly- there's no reason to go from RT to RT Pro. It's actually cost prohibitive. You'd end up getting new parts that would, in essence, be the entire gun (mainbody, rail, valve). If it works now, don't change it.
