    hyperframe not working....please help

just got a hyperframe from coffey401.
now either he jipped me or it's a problem and maybe we can fix it.

it doesn't shoot. i can hear it clicking so i know the frame works but the solenoid isn't pushing the sear back to release the bolt. now he didn't send me the special on/off like i was sposed to get but i was told it will work on the normal one. also one of the contact screws was out and will not screw back in. is this bad?
i'm all new to the electro stuff.....and i need help to get this fixed or i'll complain and try to get my money back

on a hyperframe you can tune it to how hard the solenoid pushes, go into service mode and turn it up(i think up is harder). I dont know about the screw.

First, I have had a Hyper for 2 years, so I'm not talking out of my a$$.
This may sound stupid but, check and make sure the safety is off. I have done this a few times as the safety likes to slip on once and a while.(DOH!)
Yea, you got service mode right, so that must not be the problem. (BTW, factory setting is S7, put it back to that)
What reg are you using? Retro or classic? I have a retro and use the stock retro on/off pin with mine. You may have to have the pin that came with the frame. Tolerances between the frame, rail, and body are tight here and pin length is key.
CenterFlag has great customer service and you could always call them. They have some custom sized pins. Also, there is a guy called Centerflag on www.PbNation.com who works for them, he may help. I have heard of people sending there guns in to them, and getting them fixed for little or no $$. Have them give it a once over and it should run fine for a while. Mine has!
Any more ?? I will try to help.

The gun is 1/8" of a game that is a FOOT long!
        (...but a 'mag helps)

          s7???
to me the display reads 5 07 now...sound ok?

otherwise i have no idea....he's sending me out the special on/off cuz he forgot to pack it.

          but it's still not working
if it take the body off and look at the sear it's moving ever so slightly....so i know it's moving the sear but not enough.

          (btw...yea my safety is off)

is there a way to adjust the solenoid inside? i think there is one of the solenoid screws that is missing.

thanks for the info about centerflag....i'll get in touch with him

            5 07 sounds right.
LMK if the on/off works, I'm interested now.
When I take the body off, my sear barely moves also, but it still works. It really souns like: a) Your on off is too short and not contacting the sear. or b) it is too long and spiking it in place.
            Keep in touch.

you DO need the cf on/off assy. i bought my hf used without the on/off and it didnt work. i had all the same symptoms that you are describing and tried all the things you are trying, nothing worked. when i got the on/off from cf i installed it and it has worked perfectly ever since and i love it! the problem with the stock on/off is that the surface area of the stock on/off pin is large enough to create too much resistance for the soleniod, so the cf pin has a much smaller cercumfrance to reduce resistance. good luck!

                  ooh ooh i know, maybe

Every automag is different!!! remember that
Even though two brand spanky new automags come off the assembly line they have slight differences or tolerances.. What worked for the guy the owned the cf frame before you might work on some other guns without adjustment or might need adjustment for others. Just Depends

The orginal on/off will work. Just uses batteries a bit more than the centerflag model.

this is going to require a bit of back and forth talking to fig out whats the problem. I had a centerflag and it takes a bit of work to get them to work properly but when they do OMG.

First, Make sure you do have the setting to 5 07. You mentioned you do, ok. what you need to do next is take the gun down to just the trigger frame. on top there should be 4 hex screws really small buggers. loosen them ever so slightly so that you can move the solenoid back and forth in the cradle with a flat tip screw driver (the screws should basically still have a good deal of tension on the solenoid). If you can move it back and forth by hand its way too loose. i cant mention any more that this is a very important step and if done wrong you will have to tear the gun down again to restart all over again!!!!

Once you have that set put the gun together (leave off all the non esential parts I.E. barrel sights hopper etc.). you will want to leave the grips off the frame so you can get around in the frame with the screw driver.

air up the gun as normal. Look at the side of the trigger assembly and see how close that the solenoid pin is to the sear. You do not want the pin sitting on the sear (thats bad) There should be a slight air gap just about 1/16 of an inch between.

What you can do is move the solenoid back and forth and pull the trigger. sometimes it needs to be adjusted a hair in either direction. You may stil need to hold the solenoid with your fingers when you find the sweet spot that makes the gun fire to keep the solenoid from moving out of position and making you start from scratch again.

Once you find the setting carefully tear the gun down and tighten those screws down good. some red loctite helps too

You should be set. The last thing to do is basically work down on the service mode to move the setting 5 07 down as far as possible to conserve battery power. Basically I got mine down to 5 05 and worked fine. It will vary since every gun is different.

Once you set your gun dont change anything on it. You probably will have to readjust if you change a valve assembly or on/off parts. So whatever made your gun shoot before the e frame keep it dont change it Hope this helps
