    Level Ten qwerks that need to be remedied

    ok my LX is installed and functioning, I beleive I have mid spring and 1.5 carrier, but I have a few things to say;

    ok first off I was shooting some paint and the bolt stops on a ball, the ball then rolls a little bit forward and stops, the ball cannot be shot, the next ball cannot be loaded and all the bolt does is goto the ball and start hissing at it? any ideas

    Has anyone noticed any loss of efficiency, b/c supposedly I shot a lot of air today, but it didn't seem like that much, it just seemed that I didn't shoot much but ran out of air quickly, or maybe I was just having to much fun shooting my finger and got carried away

    ok well any insight will be helpful

    What gun is this on?

    Most likely you need to add one or two shims.

    Efficiency will be the worst when you're running a tight carrier and the longest spring. If you're shooting regular field paint, you could get away with using the middle spring and have no chops or breaks and you'll see a bit higher efficiency.

        I've had the same problem & it turned out, in my case, to be a bad case of paint-to-barrel matching. The paint was too fat for the barrel. My old bolt would've slammed the paint through, regardless, but the lvl10 is a bit more finicky. I switched to one of my larger-bore barrels & problem solved...

          Well, I had the same problem and it was the nubbin. I ended up double firing alot. Make sure your using plastic nubbins and not wire nubbins, and if your using the wire nubbins, see if you can back it out untill it doesnt stop the ball.
          The best way is to use plastic.
          If you have plastic and its still doing this, you could probally shave the nubbin a little..

            yeah part of it was the nubbins, are the plastics required for the SBII b/c I know the original SB's you had to use them, yeah but I had a p-nubbin in the barrel and I swapped a plastic nubbin in its place and problem solved

              Don't you go through air quicker if you are not using paint at all? Because does efficency not suffer when you have a bad paint to barrel match, so that would mean if you werent shooting paint at all you would have horrible efficency?

                well, the only reason the plastics were required for the SB is because the wire ones scratched up the derlin. You CAN use wire with level 10, but you get better resaults with plastics.
