    force on the fieldstrip... help

    ok i know this is a wield ?.. but i really need to know.. i have a rt valve.. lvl10 shootin at 285 with med spring... how much is the valve pushing on that field strip?? someone please help me..

    800 psi input

    The only forces pushing against the valve are the bolt spring, and the on/off pin against the sear. I would give a rough estimate of a few pounds against the screw from the spring horizontally, and a couple at most in the vertical direction.

      yes,that would suck if your screw broke and ur valve blwe back and smacked you in the mask when your in the middle of a game...

        thanks everyone i feal a lil better about my gun now.. b-c i have a custom body rail.. and it doesnt have the Z lock thing i guess u can call it? so if mine broke it would come out very easy

          Field strip screws are strong, there is no reason that they would break with the little force being applied to them. Unless they were in some way mistreated. Common sense, if the thing is bent get a new one.
