    automag to slow

just got back into speedball after 2 years and my automag not cutting it. I have always been a front player that uses bps to control movement.Well I went head to head 3 times with 3 players with impulses. lets just say that I got wacked hard. 2 years ago mag was on the same level. Any good upgrades to solve this. Ive been thinking about eletro frames but are they worth it. Can I get 1-2mm trigger pull from the frames. And how reliable are they. thanks

Another option to consider would be a retro valve and intelliframe which will give you what is arguably one of the best mechanical triggers in paintball. Look around and you'll see a lot of people like this combo -- Shartly in particular is quick to note that it can commonly outshoot electros.

What sort of valve and frame do you have now?

This is what I have on mag
      valve stock(reactor and spacer installed)
      68 3000 crossfire fiber
Stock trigger frame(tried all others except inteli.)
      gas grip
      lapco bigshot barrel
      revvy
I was thinking about it and I just changed all orings and springs. Maybe its just not wore in yet. Or maybe Im just not used to trigger. Its been awhile since I used it. What kind of pull does intelli have? Can I get 1mm 2mm out of it? I checked out price for intelli and retro. 300.00 give or take. Thats alot of money for a upgrade. Maybe its time to get new gun.

been researching booyahh and almost everyone is having problems with them. Without trying one I don't know if I dare buy one. Should just retire the mag and get a factory impulse. Or maybe just buy impulse stock and upgrade from there. Man too bad loved my mag.

Hyperframes are more reliable, yet more expensive than booyahs. Your best bet is a retro valve, and LOOSE THE REACTOR!!
You will get best resaults in preformance if you keep the valve STOCK!
Internals from companys other than AGD is a no no.
Level 10 also makes the trigger kind of mushier and it reduces ball breakage.

if your that worried about ROF and want to try an electro, get a Emag, used they are going for pretty cheap nowadays and you will have the best of both worlds, a gun that can fire in Emode or mechanical mode(or hybird, lol)

(it will also fire faster than an impulse (capabily))

emags have nice triggers that you can play with, they have a very broad field in how light or heavy you set them so it can fit to your taste nicely

plus, you can get a level 10 for it, have you heard of the level 10 mod? I suggest you check up on it.

A retro valve is not 300 its 200 with the trade in deal. Check the AGD online store (top of screen, blue tab thingy). Get an intelliframe and make sure you check out the level 10 its one of the best upgrades you can get - lighter trigger, no recoil (lightest bolt on the market), no chops again EVER (you have to see the videos and diagrams), and a quieter gun. They go for 85 now. And no, you cannot get a 1mm to 2mm trigger pull with the intelliframe. Learn the Mag trigger and you will shoot very fast eventually, its just a little different from the regular spring trigger. I actually shoot faster with my Mag then with an Angel in semimode (or whatever its called). Retro is just incredible, again you need to learn the trigger.

The only reason you got wacked by the Imps is because you didnt win. The gun didnt make you lose. 95% player, 5% gun.

Drx that was 300 for retro and intelli. And I know all about the level 10s.
Thanks guys. Im going to go with retro, intelli or wait for new madusa trigger to come out and see what that has to offer. Ive been reseaching eltros on this site all day and centerflag and booyah don't seem reliable. thanks again.
