goto a local dive/scuba shop or your local paintball store...
though you will want to shop around... my local store wants to charge 35-40 where as the local dive shops are 20.... if you cant find any in your area also look for welding supply shops or fire exstinusher(yup i cant spell) companys....
as far as being out of date.... depending on the tank... it expires on the last day on the month before the month listed on the tank.... right now there are 3 types of tanks out there.... they are with how long they last...
carbon fiber warped (includes all wraped bottles) good for 3 years before need to be tested
carbon fiber warp under a new D.O.T. reg that are good for 5 years (this is a fairly new regulation and some places are not aware of it or how to chkeck it.. it can be found by lookin up the reg. on question)
both of the above types of bottles have a max life span of 15 years from the date it was made with no eceptions...
next you have the steel and alum. tanks.... these are good for 5 years before needing to be tested and will continue to be able to be used as long as they will pass a hydro test....
Edit also this could have been found by doing a search... little blue button near the top of hte pages... what i have above was in the 1st post listed.... and just happened to be one i typed out before... man i love cut and paste =)Virus, King of the Basement Trollz has spoken
