    Brand new RT Pro leaking????

Just got my new RT Pro, gassed her up with nitro and she leaked from the start. Anyone else experience this when they first got their RT? I'm not exactly a Mr. Fixit, so does anyone know what it could be??? Thanks for any help!

You're going to have to give us a little more info. Where is it leaking from? The bolt? The ASA? The velocity adjuster?

If its leaking from the front you either need a different PT spacer, or you need to gas up your gun with a quick burst of air. Holding the trigger down while you turn your tank on/screw it in may also do the trick. If its from the back (velocity ajuster) your velocity is too high. Turn it down, out is down, in is up. Those are the only problems I can think of that you should have with a brand new gun, it is unlikely you have a bad o-ring.

What type of tank are you using. You need to be giving it a quick burst of air in order to seat the bolt, I believe. Otherwise, gas it up and shoot and see what happens.

Try pushing teh bolt back with a wooden dowel or somthing. that should stop the leak. If it shoots alright after that then you need to supply a faster burst of air to the valve. Basically screw in your tank to the point right before teh pin valve is depressed, then turn it as fast as you can. An easier way to do it is a pro connect, or quickly opening an on-off.
If it doesn't fire normally you will need a differant size pt spacer.

Well, I tried gassing it up again and shooting and it shot about 2 times then it felt like the bolt got stuck. Meanwhile, it's leaking air through the front the entire time. I am using an ACI Bulldog II 68ci 4500psi fiber tank that is preset at 800 psi.

You need a differant PT spacer, longer I think. Did it come with any spacers? If not a kit is about $20 for every spacer size. AGD might send you a new spacer as well, if the wrong size was included with teh gun.

To oil... Put a few drops in your quick disconnect/proconnect, if you don't have one put it in your asa. Gas up the gun, fire 20-30 shots with no barrel. That will oil it up. This sounds like a PT spacer prob to me though.

Take your on/off asembly out and put lots of oil in. Lube your power tube o-ring good. Put oil in your valve intake. Now gas up the gun and dry fire it to blow out the excess oil. It should work fine. This is a common problem with new retro valves.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

                          !!!!

Well, after trying all the suggestions posted here(many thanks!), the gun would still leak. I was at a loss so I took it to the local painball shop and left it there for a few days. I went back yesterday to pick it up and the tech looked at me with this face of total disbelief and says, "it was missing an O-Ring, I can't believe that they would forget to put an O-Ring!"...hey, it only cost me ten bucks so I'm not complaining. But, is it even possible for a gun to leave AGD missing an o-ring? Don't they test fire the guns before they ship them out??? Any insight on this is again, appreciated. Thanks for all the help guys!

Well I gave it a lot of thought to why an Oring would be missing. Its ethier aliens, elves, or Elvis. I dont think Elvis because he dosent have a MO for this stuff. Mabey the aliens because they like screwing with us. BUT THE ELVES THE ELVES! They have a motive, the level 10 took the place of them, and now they're angry!!!!
