    galactic z-body

i was lookin around for some new guns for my friend when i came across the galactic z-body.aparently it works like a flatline barrel and puts a backspin on the ball but you can adjust the amount of spin on it.i was just wondering if anyone had it and what they think about it.is it worth it to buy it?or should i not waste time or money on it?heres the pic of it an the site is www.bbtpaintball.com ,look under catalog; guns; automags, and its the last thing on the page.

A couple of members have the Z-body, and generally have had good luck with it. The trick is: you NEED a large bore barrel to allow the ball to continue to spin down the barrel.

It's a little tricky to shoot too. You must keep the barrel perfectly level or the ball will curve away from the point of aim. One thing, you will shoot the ball farther, but not effectively. An unspun ball needs "this" amount of speed in order to break, the backspun ball does too. Remember, they both started out at 300fps, and physics says they will both slow down at the same rate, giving you the same breaking distance. Where the Zbody shines, is the total distance it will go is at least another 50' over a regular ball, it may not break, but bouncing one off a player on the far side of the field will put him in the bunker!
