    Inline Reg

I AM CONVERTING TO COMPRESSED AIR FOR MY MINIMAG, AND I WAS WONDERING IF AN INLINE REG WOULD IMPROVE PERFORMANCE. THE ONE I WAS LOOKING AT WAS ADJUSTABLE FROM 200-800 PSI

YOU CAN ALSO EMAIL ME AND [email protected]

    THANKS

While some people do tripple-reg on HPA its generally not really encouraged or necessary. The thing you have to watch out for is getting about 200 psi difference, at least, between the regs. Obviously this makes it very difficult to tripple reg an RT, unless your tank output is up over 1000psi. On the AIR valve, the reg on the tank and the reg on the valve should work just fine. If you've got an extra reg, feel free to try it and see if you see any benefit, but your money is probably better spent elsewhere.

if you dont keep 200 psi going from 1 reg to the next you might get a little bit of shootdown. and IMO the little bit of extra consistancy some say you get with 3 regs isnt worth it for me.

A mag has a reg built right into the valve. So, you already have 2 regs, one on the tank, another on the valve. This is plenty, another is just going to slow down your air flow.
