    E-Mag v1.31 Leaks?

I called AGD a couple of days ago. I talked with Jon. I asked him a few questions about the Mag, then asked about differences between v1.31 and 1.37.

It was intresting that only after telling him this, he said to have the gun upgraded immidiately. He said that 1.31 Mags leaked. The setup was incorrect and needed readjustment. The on/off seals had to be swapped out to standard automag seals. On/off pin length had to be changed. I asked if it was because there was a new dwell value in the newer version. He said no, just mechnical differences in the valve.

It really surprised me as so much had to be changed out. I told my friend about it and he believed it to be because of the shot counter on the E-Mag resetting itself on 1.31. He felt that AGD feels very obgligated to fix this since every new owner recieving it will be getting false idea that the gun is newer than it actually is (Is the E-Mag the only gun with a total shot counter?). My friend said this would hold AGD liable for any misinterpretation of the age/mileage of the marker. In a way, it makes sense. But why would they make up this leak propoganda just to get my gun to them?

I would like to know if anyone had any experience like this? Where they sent their gun in and they readjusted everything. Jon said that I can just wait til it happens, but I doubt it ever will. I have put over 4000 shots on this thing dry firing it and shooting paint. Not a sign of leakage. He said the on/off orings must be swapped to standard ones. Im guesing that the quad oring is gonna be eliminated.

Can anyone help me figure this out?

I don't know the difference between 1.31 and 1.37, but mine is version 1.37 and my shot counter resets itself all the time. I haven't got a clue as to how many shots are actually on my emag.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

      athomas,

take off your on/off and look inside, is it the black quad oring, or the double oring stack as in the standard automag? Im very curious.

It's the black quad o-ring. My emag is sn: EM0394.
