    Simple

Mechanically the guns will perform the same. If it was an original RT the air connectors would run through the forgrip of the gun and along the left side (looking from the back) into the rail body (which would have 3 plugs on each side for optional air inputs). Also the original body has a swiss cheese front (like the MiniMag kinda). The new RT's dropped that.

I have one and with and it shoots as good as my friend's RT Pro, his is just a bit lighter.

Yep, the rt body will also extend further toward the back of the marker and will be angled rather than square. This in turn means that the outer diamerter of the rt valve is slightly smaller than the rt-pro and retro valve dimensions. If you have an rt then it will only fit an rt valve. An rt-pro body can fit a rt-pro, retro, emag or standard AIR valve, becasue the outer dimensions are the same for all of them (you might however, have to change the on/off pin length to for optimal performance).

The RT valve uses a banjo bolt instead of the standard feild strip screw. The banjo bolt conducts the air into the valve from the rail where the hardline srews into. In the other mag valves the air line screws directly into the side of the valve. The banjo bolt is thicker than the standard field strip screw and will not fit in any valve other than an rt. It may be distinguished by its o-rings and air passageways. You should be able to use whatever came with your gun: if its an rt it almost certainly cam with a bajo bolt; if an rt pro it should have the standard feild strip screw.

Oh, and the actuall "bolt" that fires the paintballs is the same. That's why the level 10 will fit on all mags.

        rt:

Note the syle of the body and the hardline conducting air from the gas-through forgrip into the rail. And man that's quite a trigger guard

        rt-pro:

not the body differences and that the airline runs directly to the valve.

You have an RT. If you want you could try and get your money back as the seller didn't send you what you bought. Or you could just let it go, the RT is just as good as the RT pro, exept the banjo bolt can be a pain sometimes, and the valve won't work in any other mag.
