    My First Mag - Question

Hello all, I have a question about this mag I just bought. It's new to me, but not brand new. It's a 68 P/F Left with a polished body. Anyway, Something that is a little out of the ordinary to me is it has 2 holes on the right side of the marker. One where the air enters and another one approx. an inch in front of the other one. It is being "plugged" by a 1" bolt but that bolt is kind of in the way. Has anyone ever seen this 2nd hole and do you have any ideas of what type of bolt I can use to plug it that won't stick out an inch from the gun... The problem is I can't angle my hose at the angle I want because the bolt is in the way... I attached a pic and if you look very close you can see where that bolt is that is plugging the hole...

There was probably a magic box installed at one point and they just plugged it up with a bolt

Magic box. Yep, that's what I say as well.

You can get solid plugs with hex heads that will screw into the front hole in the valve. They wouldn't stick out like a bolt. You may even find something in stainless steel.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

You'll probably have to go to a place that sells machine bolts or possibly a hydraulic/pheumatic shop of some sort. I would think that a shop that sells hydraulic lines should have plugs for those lines.
