Would an RT main body work on a 68 valve if i cut the back end down. I noticed that the body goes over the vlave on an RT, and im guessing the 68 valve would be too big to fit into it. Has anyone tried this? dose it work? I really like that RT mag body look with the holes. but if it doesnt work, i'll just go with a minimag body.

yep, that will work. Just be careful when you cut. If you search for "rt body cut down" it comes up with a bunch of threads. This pic is taken from one of them. It shows exactly what you are suggesting:
