Warp feed with vertical feed or side?

I was thinking of getting a warp feed for my mag RT. I have a question though.. does the feeder attatched to the main body make a difference? I currently have a vertical feed, which was stock, but I have seen some side feeds mounted upside down to accomodate a warpfeeder and keep the top sights clear. Does one work better than the other with a warp feeder?

    As always thanks for posting...

Its been my experience that the 'adapters' dont work nearly as well as running the hose to the bottom of a HR setup (if you're right handed) or HL (if you're left handed. The adapaters do sort of work, but balls can get caught easier and its been a general annoyance for me.

If you are looking to buy a new mag and want warp feed, I would highly suggest a HopperRight feed, so that you can run the warp directly in through the bottom with a short hose length.
"it constantly leaked from the 3 way. I bought all new pneumatics and the leak just moved. I sat down and looked over Ravi's cocker site and messed with it and it still did'nt work right. I took it to a local "cocker expert and it worked ok until I got it home. Needless to say I have never had the urge to throw something off a cliff more." - Load SM5 on owning an Autococker

Supposedly, the less 90 degree angles there are in line the better the system will operate. However, I have seen vertical feed RT Pros which use the warp feed with nary a hiccup. Anyway, the powerfeed itself creates a 90 degree angle in the warp feed line. As long as you adjust the adapter/power feed plug correctly, it should not be a problem at all for you to use a warp feed.

Check out this thread to properly adjust the feed plug: http://www.automags.org/forums/showt...threadid=12911
