I'm looking for an adjustable tank to run my cocker off of. I have a 3K flatline, and I havn't tried it w/o an inline reg yet. I've heard that at low outputs (so around 350-400psi in this case) flatlines are not consistent. I also have the option of using an older style 3K adjustable nitro duck system. I don't have the money for a max flow or anything like that, so which one of these two tanks do you guys think would work better?

They're more consistant if you use a standard Mag valve spring pack. The stock Flatline spring pack is tuned for about 600-800psi output and the Mag spring pack is more for around 350-500psi output. The Flatline spring pack has silver springs and the Mag one is all black. -
so you're saying i should put a mag spring pack in?
one more thing - my serial # is FL00167. I heard that below 500 are level 1 flatlines. Is this a problem?

A different on/off piece that prevents the system from having shootdown after being first turned on when it sat with a full tank for a prolonged period of time.
Improved spring pack.
Those are the only things I know of, there might be others but the LVL 1 was not a good system at all. LVL 2 is a big improvement.Comment

Can you tell if your Flatline was upgraded?
Does AGD put any sort of marking or is there any kind of piece that you can distinguish as a level 2 Flatline from a level 1 Flatline??
In otherwords..how can you tell if you have an older flatline if it has been upgraded yet?
Will AGD tell you call and make a query on your serial no.?Comment

No way to tell besides calling AGD.
If you call they should have record that it's been in for the upgrade based off the serial number.
