hm...i need help here...im thinking about getting a male palmer reg, designed for high pressur output...but would i have problems with the mag getting enough psi to regulate into 450 or w/e it uses? would using the reg starve my gun?

I assume you mean the stabilizer? It will work fine. You'll want at least 200 psi between regs on the mag, so set it at 600 or higher.

However, are you running HPA or CO2? If CO2 then thats fine. With HPA you already have a reg on the tank and one in the valve. As long as you keep enough psi between them you should be okay, but tripple regging isn't generally recomended.

And by the way, welcome to AO!

hm, well im still debating whether to get co2 or nitro...it all depends on how much $$ i end up with...il proly go nitro....but as u said, triple regging isnt recommended, so should i just stick with a gas thru grip if i get nitro?

Adding an inline reg will give you a very nice co2 setup. The only problem is that the cost of the reg takes a lot of the cost advantage away from co2. Something to consider. If you search you'll find lots of previous threads on mags and co2 that will go into this in more detail.

With the price of a stablizer it wouldn't take much more just to get a cheap nitro tank. And trust me, ANY CA system is better than CO2.

Go nitro your much better off. Get a stabilizer later.

, i recently added the same reg to my set up, haven't had a chance to use it in action or chrono yet though. In my backyard i saw no evidence of shootdown, its set to about 650 psi and seems to work good. Just remember with stabilizers you need a 1500-2000 shot break in period for the seals to take their seats.
