    anyones LX showing waer?

i was looking at my bolt.. i see alot on nicks on the tip, and around where the sear catches im starting to see a lil bit then a couple of bigger nicks. I shot maybe 300 rounds with a wire nubben and 90% new sear. Now its on an rt with plastic nubbens with a brand new sear. And i think it might be getting worse, happening to anyone else? Is it normal? im jw bc if so im gunna use my normal bolt and just keep that for tornie play

tell me what is going on inside your gun

1800 rounds (and probably half that again in dry firing) and I haven't noticed anything peculiar going on... No gouges (big enough to catch my finger nail) there is wear (places you can visibly see where the sear has come in contact)... Brand new sear as well but no "nicks" that you noticed.

The tip of the bolt will show some surface wear.

The flat spot on the bolt that rides on top of the sear will show quite a bit of surface scratches. They shouldn't be deep gouges, but surface wear that your finger won't catch on is normal. A new sear will wear the bolt a bit more because it's harder than the bolt and the sear hasn't been smoothed out with normal use.

Just check the latch surface and that the edge nice and sharp. If it's rounding out showing some nicks, then something isn't right.
