    ? on my barrel

    im gunna be doing my anodizing at home.. but i really need to know what the Smartparts All amirican barrel is held together by. Its brand new to me (about 3months old) but it is the old style barrel and its 2pc and does not screw apart like the new ones. Im afraid it will fall apart. Please some one help me ide like to have my gun done be for school.

    hey.....you gotta wrap one end in a towl or rag and clamp it tight in a vice......use a torch and heat up the joint untill it stops smoking...this means all the epoxy is gone......then get a firm grip on the other end and pull as hard as you can......its hard but it can be done

      rightsidefight, ok so its held together by apoxy? crap i never thought of haveng to take it apart... so do i have to? and say i do, is it possible to put it back togther?

        yea its apoxy...you have to take it off before anodizing and yea you can put it back but you gotta apoxy it...when you put it back together you gotts be real carfull tho.....to make sure you dont apoxy inside the barrel.....hope this helps
