my PT tip is unscrewing HELP!

My PT tip unscrews slowly while playing, and when it screws off, the bolt sticks forward. Before this started happening, I replaced the PT o ring. I was surprised that is seemed less thick then the original, and it seems that it doesn't hold well enough. I'm playing this weekend so i need a quick fix. Would teflon tape around the threads and the o-ring help hold it in place better?
any ideas?

blue loctite, Its strong enough to hold the tip in place, but you can break the seal with your hand

Yhea just put some blue loctite on their. It should stop unscrewing while you play.
