No spacer in used ReTro Valve

Okay. I bought my ReTro Valve used off someone on AO(who will remain nameless). It works fine but when I opened it up it didn't have a spacer in the PT. I opened up my old mag valve and it had a spacer(.220). My RT valve does leak a little bit(I think, I wasn't shooting paint). Should I put the .220 spacer out of my old valve and into my RT?

Use the .220 if that doesn't work, go to the seller and demand the correct spacer, or a whole spacer kit.
