    E-Mode problem

I'm having a problem with my mag when trying to fire electro. When I pull the trigger, the sensor is still working, but when the solenoid pulls the plunger it only pulls it down about half way, thus it takes 2 or more strokes to fire. My battery is full, so it's not that. My only thoughts are that A) the E-Magnum board is somehow not sending enough power to the 'noid B) the 'noid has somehow worn out, or C) the plunger is out of whack and needs to be readjusted (this all seemed to start after I put a burst through at full auto but left it in hybrid, so that might have messed up the plunger/sear assy)

I think it might be C, but I was hoping to get a few second opinions before I wind up destroying something.

Check to make sure the solenoid plunger moves freely. Take off the left grip panel and move the solenoid arm of the sear up and down. If you feel a lot of resistance, the threaded rod that holds on the solenoid plunger is probably bent. Also, check your battery and make sure that's fully charged. Is the C-Clip on the solenoid? The C-Clip should rest on the top of the solenoid when it's all the way down.

There's no noticable resistance, battery is still strong at 17-18 volts, and the C-Clip is on the plunger and rests on top of the solenoid.

Without the gun gassed up, take off the grip panel and hold up the arm of the sear that the solenoid plunger is attached to with something like your battery cutoff pin. Turn on the gun and pull the trigger. It should pull with quite a bit of force and pull it down as far as it can go.

If it doesn't do this, I'll bet your solenoid is bad. But it wouldn't hurt to reinstall your original board and see if that fixes it.
