    Will sanding a long-nose bolt.............

.......do anything?? Please don't tell me to get LvL 10 (I plan to anyway) But I'd like to know if sanding down the edge of the long-nose bolt will do anything.

Yes it will help ALOT! Do it. It will all but stop ball cracking, and therefore eliminate most breakage

no it's true -- tom posted instructions on how to sand it down to prevent breakage. I did it myself and it helped to turn my mag from a paint blender to a mere paint chopper.

My girlfriend rides a moped. How cool is that??!!

yeah, It works quite well. I used it for a long time. Had maybe 2-5 breaks per case using an old school foamie bolt, WITHOUT A FOAMIE! Just round off the outside edge of the TOP (front) of the bolt.
