    valve strip down

    hey i was wondering if their is a clasic thread showing step by step instructions to strip down oil clean etc an 68 automag clasic valve this might all be on the video but i bought mag second hand so i havent one :s

    i think if you reregeister AGD can send you one out. Dont un screw the refulator unless you have extra reg seats.

      so do you need to change reg seats every time you unscrew the refulator?

        Technically yes you should change every time. The only thigns that you should need to do is take the valve out of the gun, slide the bolt off, whipe it down, you can wash off the bolt if you broke paint. Then put it back together, put 2-3 drops of oil in your quick disconnect, pro connect etc, if you don't have one, put it in your ASA, remove the barrel and fire 20-30 times, this will lubricate your gun. The only time you really need to take teh valve apart is if you are having a problem with it, or if you are going to change out o-rings.

          You can get a free video from AGD, although I think they might charge the price for shipping now, which will explain how to completly dissasemble and troubleshoot your valve.
