My Mag! Just bought

Hello im very new to this board, and im sure this will be the only board ill look at. I have recently bought a Automag classic! For only $180! It came with a electronic hopper, a stainless steel 3000psi/48cu(Pure Energy) nitrogen tank, a 14 inch all american barrel (small bore), a nitrogen regulator, a mask, a glove, extra parts, and a electronic trigger with the original trigger (original is on).

My question is what type of barrel and trigger should i get.
I need some good stuff im going to a HUGE game in Ocala FL.
i also want to know if i need a ventura bolt for this gun.
Im new to Auto mags so please be kind even if i do sound ridiculous.

Hey welcome to the boards.
As far as barrel keep yours or i like the Dye Stainless steel cuz it has great accuracy, and i love the way it looks IMO.

You do not need a venturi bolt. The stock bolt works fine, but you can always upgrade to the LvL 10 which practically eliminates chops.
You really do not need to run a regulator cuz it can starve the valve n cause shoot down.
You might want to buy a bigger tank if u are goin to a big game, 48 is pretty small.
As far as everything else you should be fine, sounds like you got a really good deal on that stuff.

that sounds great i think i should get a composite tank or something light. the tank on there now is too heavy and its one of its drawbacks. and yea i read the triggers post, i was just makin sure that would work. regulator hmm i thought i needed one for nitrogen? hmm then again co2 works fine seeing how as im in FL where there is no cold wether. and no i need a new barrel. the one i have know is a small bore like for tournaments. i need something a little biger.

Hi.I am new to this board as well. Can someone tell me what the operating pressure is on mags?I have had one for a few years but for the life of me i dont know what it is. the nitro tank k9 is using is preset to something like 750 i think.if the operating pressure is much different,wouldnt he need the reg?im not an airsmith so i dont know.

mags have a built in reg that brings them down to 400ish psi no double reggin is needed

what are you talkin about dont they need more then that to fire!
and it doesnt matter cause i have never expierenced "Shoot down" so as long as it work i aint messin with it! And yea im ganna get a more balenced tank so the damn gun doesnt flip up on me when im shooting.
