HALO B and angled shooting ??s

I was wondering if anybody could comment on the HALO B setup on a vertical low rise micro-emag from PTP? Will the loader still have the incredible feed rate on angled shots out from either side of a lay down tube for example??

How does it perform overall w/out the Warp Feed and on a vertical low-rise setup?

All replies will be much appreciated.

For angled shooting with a HALO B you will be fine as long as there are enough balls in the hopper that they reach the halos "merry-go-round". A warp isint completely nesscary, but the HALO is a blimp so it might be use full

The shape of the halo keeps balls near the motorized feed mechanism, even at an angle.

I have fired continuous strings of 20 - 30 shots without problems while the vertical feed gun I was using was lying on its side. Its quite amazing.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

my micro emag with halo B -double feefs

I just got a smoked Halo B for my ultra blue micro emag and the results are dissappointing.

It double feeds all the time!

Seems that the micro emags ball detent is too soft to hold back the halo B's ball stack pressure and it gives way. Also there's some space between the paintball and the detent when it sits in the breech - so it's easy for the halo to push the breached ball forward.
Luckily i have level 10 and it takes away some of the chopping.
Now all i have to worry are the barrel breaks from the double feeding.

            Maybe a new detent??

I haven't tried paint through mine yet...now I can't wait. Do you think your detent has been worn to the point it let's the ball pass or do you think it's a poor design? I don't see how AGD plastic nubbins would stop the back pressure of a HALO B either but it's been reported that they work fine? Let's keep investigating and reporting.

It seems I may be the only one having problems with my Microemag - Halo B setup.
Gadget68 says he doesnt have a problem with his setup. So like you said I may have a worn detent or my Halo B has a stronger than normal motor.

                Tweaking the HALO B..

I would only be speculating here but,...I wonder if we can open the cone feeder and relax that windup spring a little so it won't drive the paintball stack so hard?? I think it's possible to un-turn that spring a couple times??

                Just a thought!

Thanks for the idea, but I'll try replacing the detent or replace the detent spring first.
