can people please tell me what a regulator is? why do people need extras? what do they do? tell me the whole works of regulators please...thanks

the name speaks for it's self. It regulates the incomming presure. A 3000psi tank has 3000psi if it's full. The regultor regulates it down to around 800psi for preset tanks, then the regulator on the Autmag Advanced Intergrated Regulator(AIR) regulates it down further to 350-400 which is normal presure for the Automag.
