I have in the longest spring in. (I think, its the uncut longer spring) And I was having trouble with Velocity consistantcy. It took a lot to get it under 290 (550-600 psi) and I was wondering if I need to put in a shorter spring or lower my input. I'd like to be shooting 280. Also I do have an RT if that makes any difference.

1. What carrier are you running?
2. Turning down the velocity adjust knob usually works?!?
3. Why did you turn down the tank press. to adjust the velocity?
I am running the mid spring and the 1.5 carrier. I have a PMI preset tank @ 850PSI. I had to really turn the velocity adjust knob in to get it up to 280FPS. I imagine that I could put the stock spring in and turn the velocity knob down to produce the same results with the gun.
