    Mag Problems!

My mag is Standard Feed, 10inch CP Barrel, 12v Revy, PMI Perfect Drop, Gadget Grip, 48/3k PMI Nitro, and Rear Velocity Adjuster.

I went paintballing today and when I was shooting it was shooting two paintballs at once. My barrel has the nubbin in the slot. How can I prevent this? Any ideas?

Also, my Gadget Grip comes loose every once in awhile. Should I put loc-tite on the screw?

Also, my velocity was spiking on nitro and I could not shoot above about 250 fps. I was turning the RVA clockwise (is that the direction to make the velocity higher?) Any ideas?

    Thanks
    Daniel

    1. Is it a plastic nubbin? If it is it might be wornout and you might need another. Really small bore paint. This might do it too. If it is a wire nubbin you might try bending it to get it to sit higher in the breach. Make sure you bend it so it has the same shape but sits higher.

    2. A little loctite might work well on the threads. Don't use the superstrong stuff though.

    3. Smallbore paint would do that and slide down the barrel causing your double feed problem. Yes Clockwise is the right direction, but if most of the air is escaping past the balls because they are too small it wouldn't make a huge difference. The spiking might be due to a few balls that are bigger than the rest. This would give you a better paint/barrel match and since you turned the velocity knob up it would shoot hot.

    I hope this helps.

Velocity is probably your reg seat, try a new one.
The gadjet grip, you can use loctite if you want, I would recommend using the blue, as the red is going to be a realy PITA if not impossible to get it off again.
Your double feeding is probably your nubbin. Do you have a plastic nubbin, or is it an older metal one. If it is an older one, or even if it is plastic be sure that it is pertruding into the barrel. Also make sure your paint isn't too much smaller than the barrel you are using.
