    All or Nothin'

My friends 68 classic is pretty messed up. His velocity is an all or nothin' deal. Either is goes supper fast or the on/off pin reset. Does anyone know how to fix this?????

I'm sorry but you need to describe the gun and problem with as much detail as possible. I don't even understand what your saying

You need to describe exactly what is happening.

My friend has an Automag running on CO2 with no expansion, foregrip, regulator, or remote. He recently took the gun apart and oiled it. It no longer works right. The on'off pin won't pop into the "firing" position unless the velocity is all the way up. So either the gun fires at 450 fps or it doesn't shoot at all.
I took it apart reassembled it with a fair amount of oil and it barely worked for another 200 shots. It then went back to all or nothin'.

450 fps. Thats very not good, you shouldn't get a mag above 380 at the very very most. It is desinged to vent gas before that happens. That could be a problem with your reg piston or spring.

He was probably just exagerating, I doubt that it would be able to go that high.

Yes, the gun was shooting at 450 fps.
No, the on/off pin is in the right way.

450, i'm going to say somthing is probably with his reg piston or spring once again.

well, i've actually gotten a mag to shoot 400+ fps.

You're most likely super-charging the valve with liquid CO2. Toss on a n2 tank, and if it's having the same problems, come back.

                        I would if I could.

No one with 300 miles of where I live refills N2, so there is no point in getting an N2 tank. Plus, the gun acts this way no matter how warm it is. It just isn't working right, it is NOT the CO2; it perfectly before on CO2, but now it doesn't work.
