    Z-Grip and Trigger Rod

Is there a different length with the z-grip trigger rod length and the regular length in a classic? I had my benchy frame in and the trigger rod was at 1.995 just like it is supposed to be. and i installed my z grip and it was all mess up. is it supposed to be a different length?

PyRo, i'm hopin you can help me out on this 1.

NOO... rod stays the same... a shorter on/off pin... send the gun to AGD or call them and ask for a shorter pin...

My trigger rod was actually a bit too long when I installed the Z-Grip. In that, when the gun was gassed up, and you pulled the trigger all the way foward, the trigger rod was still hitting it. Do you have this same problem? What exactly is it that your gun is doing that it shouldn't be?

you gas it up and it leaks out the barrel, it would fire maybe 1 shot, and then it would just leak out the barrel. when you pull and hold the trigger, it stops leaking. I don't really think it is the trigger rod. I don't know much about them, but i'm leaning toward the shorter on/off. i could be wrong.

PyRo- the trigger rod looked like it was in the right place, but i got the same 1 or 2 shots off as i did when my rod was off before.

Could it be bolt stick? Try a differant spacer.

                we tried the bolt spacer.

the guy at the proshop called agd and they said it was probly the power tube o-ring, if not they told me to send it in to them.

For some damn reason I didn't mention the stupid PT o-ring.
                  *smacks self
Yeah try that. Also be sure your bolt spring comes up past the nose of your bolt.

is the power tube o-ring the blue disk that goes around it? or is it inside the PT?

it is inside the power tube, right under the spacer. the blue thing is a bumper.

Take off the PT tip (brass thing). Then under that is the spacer, remove it. Underneath the spacer is the PT o-ring, you might need to use somthing to get it out with. Check that for damage. If you have another one just replace it.
Put the pt o-ring in, make sure it is seated all the way back. Then replace the PT spacer (doesn't matter which way it goes in). Then put on the PT tip.

Ok, you can see it right? It usually will fall right out. If not you can use a toothpick, a small screw driver. Somthing along those lines.
