    LVL 10 shim ???

Ok, I dont have any leakage, but I am trying to fine tune it. Tryed RT on my Emag as fast as possible, and broke a ball about 40 balls out. Useing the #1 carrier (#0 is to tight), longest spring 2 shims. I have also broke a ball on another outing in electro mode. So my ??? Put shims in until it leaks, don't shoot that fast??? Basicly I was trying to do what they did on the lvl 10 video for fun. Oh man the marker is fast. I love my emag.

shims dont make the bolt softer on paint, just leave two.

If you using the longest spring all I can say is try a bigger carrier, the object is to use the biggest one that doesnt leak.

    Also, what's your input pressure?

Were you chrono'd when you were shooting paint?

The longest spring usually has a little trouble chronoing below 280, you might actually want to go with a cut spring(it's still very soft on paint)

Drop ten balls of the paint you were shooting from 6ft and see how many bounces it takes to break them. The less bounces, the more brittle the paint is and the more likely it will be to break the paint.

Also, what feed system do you have? If that's not keeping up, you're going to be pinching the paint and if it's brittle enough it will fracture and either chop or break down the barrel.

What velocity are you shooting at? It's still best to be shooting less than 300fps at all times.

i thought the object was to get a smaller carrier to slow the bolt further, at the expense of bolt stick?

nope, the spring slows the bolt. the biggest carrier that doesnt leak makes a "cork" for the when the bolt it ready to go into the second stage.
