Is the ANS true flow valve any good for the automag??? Will it give me faster trigger recovery over stock?

No. Your stock parts can easily keep up with your trigger. EASILY. Stock Automags not even with ReTro can do 16 BPS with no shootdown. If you are experiencing shootdown it may your gun.

I would stick to stock parts for all the internal parts. A good barrel paint match allowing a lower reg pressure will give the best results in recharge time improvement. Substantial shoot down is probably caused by something else actually wrong. Possibly something stuck in the reg. Good luck.
