    Hand polishing a mag

    can someone please post the steps in detail on how to hand polish a mag. I know you need like 400-1200 grit paper but what technigues do I need to follow. how long on each type of paper ? what to look for at each stage ?
    My setup:
    Mini-mag
    VL 12v revy
    12"SP teardrop barrel
    benchmark frame /w dye grips
    PB drop with on/off
    PMI PE 68/3000 tank

          Thanks again I started work on the mag and so far at 600 grit it looks great I cant wait to see what 1200grit looks like. What town on the south shore are you from ?I was born and raised in carver.
