    Sight rails

OK... This isn't big, as far as issues go, but I picked up a sight rail (Extreme Rage Omega, to be specific) & when I mount it on my 'Mag, I have a couple problems: First, when I tighten the set screw on the sight rail, it pushes the back end of the sight rail up so that it is no longer parallel with the body. Second, no matter how tightly I fasten the set screw, the sight rail still slips around on the body. I've tried a couple things to solve these problems, but to no avail. Has anyone experienced similar problems, and if so have you found an adequate solution? Thanx...

always did that to me too. The only way I can see making it stay is to jbweild it.

I don't use a set screw... My rail never moves unless I push it. Hmm

dremel a very small divot where the set screw is to sit, this will keep it from moving around. As far as pushing the rail up, I think this in inescapable (hence the 6 screws on the RT and Emag sight rail). Hope I helped.
