    Warp feed problem

My warp feed is draining batteries way too quick. It feels like there's a short somewhere in the circuit, because the battery (9V) heats up so much that I can feel it through the warp feed on my arm after just one 2-3 minute game. Has anyone else had this problem?

did you read the wrap info thread(it's a classic tech thread)? you need to lower your dwell time, use the jumpers on the left of the board.

      i did do that

I did lower the dwell time...

I'm going to try to get a multimeter. I'm pretty sure there's a short somewhere in there.

check your battery wires to see if you may have cut into them opening or closing the battery door. Follow the wires all the way to the board and make sure there's nothing that would allow for them to touch and heat up.
